Existing EEG arrangements have been extended to 31 March 2027. The Government has also announced that the EEG Base Tier will expand to all sectors and be further extended to 31 March 2028; detailed implementation guidance is being released. We verify the live criteria before advising or preparing a submission.

The Energy Efficiency Grant (EEG) co-funds qualifying investments in energy-efficient equipment. Support levels, eligible sectors, equipment and application rules depend on the current tier and government guidance.
Under the currently published Base Tier rules, qualifying SMEs may receive support of up to 70% for eligible equipment, subject to the prevailing cap and criteria. Always check the latest official guidance before committing to a purchase.
For the Energy Efficiency Grant, the applicant must submit its own application and vendors are not allowed to apply on the applicant’s behalf. Future Grid can prepare the application package, organise the supporting information, guide the process and help the client get everything ready for submission.
Do not assume procurement can start before application. The timing rules can affect eligibility, so Future Grid checks the current scheme requirements before you commit to an order.
